Enterprise Capacity Building in GHG Verification: Lead Verifier Training Program and Courses Delivered for Saudi Energy (formerly Saudi Electricity Company – SEC)
DEISO supported Saudi Energy (formerly Saudi Electricity Company – SEC) through a structured enterprise capacity building engagement delivered via the “GHG Lead Verifier Training Program”, a specialized training program and professional courses conducted at the organization’s headquarters.
The program was attended by 16 professionals, including management-level participants, engineers, and environmental specialists, and was designed to strengthen internal capability in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, verification, and reporting.
The training program and courses were delivered over five days, providing an intensive, implementation-focused learning environment aligned with real operational and regulatory contexts.
As part of DEISO’s continued collaboration, this engagement represents the third capacity-building program delivered for the organization in 2023, reflecting an ongoing effort to strengthen internal sustainability systems and verification capability.
Beyond knowledge delivery, the program focused on building practical implementation capability, enabling participants to interpret carbon data, apply verification methodologies, and support internal alignment with international standards and audit-readiness requirements.
Through this capacity-building approach, DEISO supports organizations in developing the internal expertise required for sustainability execution, compliance, and long-term operational integration of GHG management systems.
