Enterprise Capacity Building in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA): Professional Training Program and Courses Delivered for Saudi Energy (formerly Saudi Electricity Company – SEC) in Riyadh
DEISO supported Saudi Energy (formerly Saudi Electricity Company – SEC) through a structured enterprise capacity building engagement delivered via an on-site Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) training program and professional courses at its headquarters in Riyadh.
The training program and courses were attended by 16 managers, engineers, and professionals, and were designed to strengthen internal capability in LCA methodology, environmental impact assessment, and lifecycle-based decision-making.
The program was conducted over five business days, from July 9th to July 13th, 2023, providing an intensive and implementation-focused learning environment aligned with real-world sustainability and operational contexts.
Beyond knowledge delivery, the engagement focused on building practical implementation capability, enabling participants to structure LCA models, interpret environmental data, and integrate lifecycle thinking into internal systems and processes.
Through this capacity-building approach, DEISO supports organizations in developing the internal expertise required for sustainability execution, reporting, and long-term operational integration of LCA practices.
