Developed by DEISO LLC, the DESIO RefLCA Database (DESIO RefLCADB) is a specialized Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) database focused on emission factors sourced exclusively from academic literature and scientific reports.
📚 About the Database
The DESIO RefLCA Database is a literature-driven database carefully developed through the extraction of emission factors from peer-reviewed academic papers and technical/scientific reports. No commercial databases, no online emission factor sources — only trusted, published scientific material.
🔵 Current Status: The database is currently under active heavy development. The initial release supports emission factors for two key sectors:
- Food Sector
- Metals Sector
🛑 Important Note: The DESIO RefLCADB does not aim to provide emission factors for thousands or hundreds of pollutants. It exclusively includes what is available in the reviewed scientific literature — ensuring accuracy and traceability.
