DEISO LLC is seeking highly qualified and experienced Lead GHG Verifiers to join our expert team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading organization in greenhouse gas (GHG) verification and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform verification of GHG emissions and carbon footprints in compliance with international standards.
• Conduct assessments of product carbon footprints and ensure adherence to ISO standards.
• Evaluate and verify environmental and sustainability data across various sectors.
• Provide expert recommendations and guidance to clients to improve their GHG management practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and voluntary frameworks.
Essential Requirements:
Candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:
GHG ISO Standards (ISO 14064 Series):
• Full professionalism and in-depth expertise with:
• ISO 14064-1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of GHG emissions and removals.
• ISO 14064-2: Specification with guidance at the project level for quantification, monitoring, and reporting of GHG emission reductions or removal enhancements.
• ISO 14064-3: Specification with guidance for the validation and verification of GHG assertions.
Product Carbon Footprint ISO Standard:
• Full fluency and practical application of ISO 14067: Carbon footprint of products—Requirements and guidelines for quantification and communication.
ISO Standards:
• Expertise and full professionalism with:
• ISO 14040: Environmental management—Life cycle assessment—Principles and framework.
• ISO 14044: Environmental management—Life cycle assessment—Requirements and guidelines.
Other Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in GHG verification, carbon footprint assessments, or sustainability consulting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Proven experience in working with international standards and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are an asset.
