We are seeking a skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join our international team. This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, mission-driven, and passionate about using AI to build impactful, scalable sustainability solutions.
🧠 Key Responsibilities

Develop and refine AI-driven platforms and chatbots for environmental applications (LCA, EPD, GHG, etc.).

Engineer and deploy LLM-based solutions (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) using no-code/low-code tools and APIs.

Collaborate with DEISO’s sustainability and research teams to automate LCI/LCIA data extraction, characterization factor mapping, and EPD verification logic.

Support development of DEISO’s AI-based training, exam, and certification platforms.

Ensure prompt quality, model reliability, and structured data outputs.

Participate in testing, iteration, and continuous AI performance improvements.
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience with LLM integration (e.g., OpenAI, prompt engineering, API chaining).

Familiarity with no-code platforms (Pickaxe AI, CustomGPT) or backend integration via APIs.

Ability to structure logic flows, format AI responses (Markdown, JSON), and handle structured data.

Understanding of LCA concepts, environmental databases, or ISO sustainability standards is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication in English.
🎓 Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, Environmental Informatics, or related field.

At least 2 years of experience in AI engineering or sustainability-tech.

Knowledge of ISO 14025, ISO 14040/44, and EN 15804 is highly desirable.

💬 Japanese is highly preferable. Additional languages (e.g., Arabic) are a plus.
