The logic, methodology mapping, decision frameworks, and reasoning architecture behind these systems were designed by Dr. Ikhlayel directly.
That design draws on something rare: a foundational engineering background — PhD-level training in Electronics and Communications Engineering — combined with over a decade of applied sustainability science practice across LCA, GHG, PCF, and EPD. Few sustainability AI systems are built by someone who holds both. Most are developed by software engineers who learned sustainability vocabulary. DEISO's are architected by a practitioner who understands how sustainability problems actually reason — and engineered the logic to reflect that.
The intelligence layer — how the systems interpret sustainability problems, route decisions, apply methodology, and surface relevant guidance — originates from Dr. Ikhlayel's direct design work. He has also reviewed academic book proposals for Elsevier and John Wiley & Sons.
