The “Special LCA Training Program: Manual Calculation Approach” aims to teach participants how to perform a full Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) manually, from the cradle to the grave, using Microsoft Excel but without the use of any LCA software. The main advantage of this course is that it explains in detail how LCA calculations work in each of the phases of “classification,” “characterization,” “normalization,” “weighting,” and “Life Cycle Impact Assessment LCIA”. Using a case study that includes raw material extraction, transportation, production, use, and disposal via incineration, landfilling, and recycling. It also teaches participants how to compute credited emissions using the avoided emissions technique.
The program comes with a bunch of features and is fully designed for both Life Cycle Assessment 9LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
